In terms of updates, the X-Blade now comes with new dynamic graphics and a new rear disc brake while retaining all the other design elements such as the robo-faced LED headlamp, LED taillight, aggressive fuel tank design and the dual outlet muffler. Further, elements such as front fork cover, wheel stripes, belly pan cover and the tank extensions have been carried over from the previous offering. The features list of digital instrumentation with gear position indicator, service due indicator and hazard switch remains unchanged, except that now it gets an engine stop switch.
Importantly, it gets a BSVI compliant 160cc PGM-Fi engine that makes 13.86PS of power at 8,000rpm and generates 14.7 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel with the help of a 5-speed gearbox. Honda maintains that the engine is designed to deliver superior efficiency with best in class torque.
The Honda X-Blade's all-digital dash looks dense but is easy to read with a rev counter across the top, a big gear indicator, central speedo and tripmeters and fuel gauge on the right
"The new X-Blade BSVI is inspired by the dreams of success oriented young enthusiasts. The generation which aspires to 'Look Beyond' will find it hard to resist Honda's globally acclaimed superior technology, new features like dual petal disc brakes with ABS, Engine Stop Switch and new dynamic stripe design of the new X-Blade BSVI." commented, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt.
