Ducati launches the XDiavel Dark and XDiavel Black Star in India, prices start from Rs 18 lakhs
Ducati has introduced two new BS6 models to its XDiavel series of motorcycles, the XDiavel Dark and the XDiavel Black Star. The XDiavel Dark costs Rs 18 lakh, while the XDiavel Black Star will set you back Rs 22.60 lakhs.
With a livery and equipment inspired by the world of sports cars, the XDiavel Black Star shows off the sporty side of the Ducati cruiser to aficionados. Grey and matt black alternate with red accents in the special livery. The colour cuts are clean and intersect, mirroring the X idea that runs across the entire family. The engine cover of the XDiavel Black Star is likewise painted brilliant red, evoking the bike's athletic spirit and highlighting the XDiavel Black Star's throbbing heart.
Ducati debuted in the Cruiser segment in 2016 with the one-of-a-kind XDiavel, a genuine Cruiser with all the design, technology, and performance anticipated of a Ducati thoroughbred. The Ducati XDiavel represents the fusion of two worlds in one motorcycle: the Cruiser world with calm riding, long travels and feet forward ergonomics and the Sportbike world with sporty riding, long journeys and feet forward ergonomics the Ducati world, which is defined by Italian design, exquisite engineering, and blazing performance.
The XDiavel Dark, with its matte black paint, cranks up the cruiser's wickedness. Where the Diavel line-up provides a more modest aesthetic, the XDiavel Dark dials up the cruiser's evil. With the debut of the first matte black-covered Ducati Monster 600 Dark in 1998, matte black has a unique place in Ducati's history.
The entire black livery has been extended to the mechanical components, plates, and finishes on the new XDiavel Dark, strengthening the Ducati "Reduce to the Max" design philosophy. The XDiavel Dark is the doorway to the realm of XDiavel, representing purity, essentiality, and the gateway to the world of XDiavel.
The twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 BS-6 compliant engine is found in both new variants. A revised silencer arrangement, a new design derived from the Diavel 1260, and a new engine calibration have been implemented to meet the current emission requirements. Both motorcycles now have a maximum power of 162PS and 127 Nm of torque.
Riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, Ducati traction control, full-LED lighting system, Ducati power launch, cruise control, hands-free, backlit handlebar switches, 3.5 inch TFT colour display is standard on both bikes. The front wheel on both motorcycles is equipped with a standard 120/70 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tire with a tread modified to enhance wet-weather performance, while the rear wheel is equipped with a 240/45 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tire.
The new XDiavel models also come with a 24-month, unlimited-mileage guarantee and 15,000-kilometer maintenance intervals. The cruisers have an 18-litre gasoline tank that allows them to go long distances.
Bookings for the XDiavel models are now open across all Ducati dealerships across India.
