Triumph Motorcycles India launch the Street Scrambler at Rs 9.35 lakh
Triumph Motorcycles India has already launched quite a few bikes this year and will continue that trend as they have now also launched the new Triumph Street Scrambler at Rs 9.35 lakh.
The new Triumph Street Scrambler is the standard version of the Street Scrambler Sandstorm edition, which is already available in India at Rs 9.80 lakh.
In the looks department, the Scrambler remains unchanged. Which is a good sign as you can't mistake this for any other bike with those extremely high single-sided twin exhausts. The classic round headlight and all street-style looks are carried forward to keep up with the name that the bike boasts.
The Street Scrambler rides on 19-inch front/17-inch rear spoke wheels with 41mm telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs. Its braking system includes a single 310mm front disc from Brembo, and a 255mm rear disc, as well as dual-channel ABS.
The Triumph Street Scrambler features a 900cc parallel-twin engine that produces a maximum of 65PS at 7,250rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. This powertrain come mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Being a Triumph, the Street Scrambler comes with a host of advanced rider-focused technology, which includes road, rain and off-road riding modes. The ABS and transaction control are both switchable as per the rider's convenience. A key-fob-integrated immobiliser and USB charging port are also included on the Street Scrambler.
Urban Grey, Jet Black or dual-tone Matte Khatte and Matte Ironstone are the new colours available on the new Triumph motorcycle. Bookings for the Triumph Street Scrambler has long begun so first deliveries of the bike are expected in a few weeks time
